The Wait is Over…

The official release of Wordpress v2.7 will be made available tomorrow after multiple delays. The new version has been running on the wordpress.com site since last friday, but has not yet made it to the wordpress.org open source download site.
We are excited to have been involved with the new release (squashing some pesky bugs) and can’t wait to continue to build site’s powered by this excellent CMS. There are plenty of sites that go into great detail about the features of the new version, but we will highlight our favorite..
1. Newly Re-Designed Admin Navigation – Accordion expanding sub-categories.
2. Media Library Re-Design – Upload media easily.
3. Customization options of dashboard – drag and drop interface
4. Batch Edit of Posts and Pages – javascript rollover interface allows for quick edits.
5. Customizable Admin Screens – Decide which modules should be displayed on the write screens.
